"Letters Home From Vietnam"
When the soldiers would write home they would feel sad. One reason why they would feel sad is because they had not seen their families for a long time. The soldiers would also feel very ready to come home. The soldiers were ready to come home because they could not stand all of the killing and death. If I was writing a letter home from Vietnam I would talk about how much I missed my family. I would also talk about how bad war is, and how much i wanted to come home. I would feel sad recieving one of these letters because one of my family members is away at war but I would also feel happy recieving one of these letters because that would mean that the person is still alive.

Reflections From Both Sides
This is a painting of the wall memorial for all of the fallen soldiers of the Vientnam War. The man shown leaning up against the wall looks to be filled with grief. As you can see there are soldiers inside the wall touching his hand. If I were in an accident and I was the only survivor I would probably feel the same way that this man shown in the picture does. I would also feel very bad for all of the families who lost a loved one in the accident. I think that surviving the war and surviving an accident are related because both are very tradgic events that could not have been changed.
